J’ai retrouvé ces photos prises en Mai 2003 à Niamey avec Ana & Tina et les bébés au dos. J’aime trop ces photos.

a baby tiger … un bébé tigre …

On Friday morning, just before leaving for school Ana found her dwarf hamster Hamy dead ! She was so sad and of course it was so hard to find him like that. He probably was old because he never really adjusted to her and it made her sad at times but she was excited to know that on Thursday he had come to her … Hamy gave her this gift before he left !

So today we went to get a new dwarf hamster. Sara was commenting on the fact that Ana’s hamster died and she was going to go and get a new pet but she didn’t have one. So I asked her what kind of pet would she want … she answered quite quickly: “A baby tiger “ — so at the pet store we got a new dwarf hamster and … a baby … no not a tiger but a fish. She is so excited. She wanted her fish to look exactly like Christina’s ! We have a name for the fish : Bubbles but none for the hamster yet …

Vendredi matin, Ana a retrouvé son hamster nain Hamy mort. Elle a beaucoup pleuré ! Il était sûrement vieux car il ne s’était jamais vraiment habitué à elle. Mais jeudi, Ana était fière de nous dire qu’Hamy était venu dans sa main ! Quel beau cadeau pour Ana !

Aujourd’hui nous sommes allés chercher un nouveau hamster nain. Avant d’y aller, Sara commentait qu’elle n’avait pas d’animal. Alors je lui ai demandé ce qu’elle voudrait … et elle répondit: Un bébé tigre ! Alors nous sommes allés au magasin et avons acheté un hamster nain et … un bébé … non pas un tigre mais un poisson ! Elle voulait exactement la même couleur que le poisson de Christina ! Le poisson a un prénom: Bubbles (Bulles) mais pas le hamster !
